Works better than I hoped. Solid wooden handle. The rubber handle grip is a real plus. I use a cream moisturizer rather than a lotion so I can't speak to how it works with a thinner lotion. The head comes off occasionally but absolutely no problem sliding it back on. I highly, highly recommend this, especially for older people whose dexterity is limited or may live alone.
- I had the roller one before, but this one is more firm and stable to me. Lotion goes on more evenly.
