Hair gets tangled easily
My kids in the class had lice so I bought them for preventative brushing. Unlike our other lice combs which usually run smoothly, they really grab your hair and pull it out. It hurts when it happens. All plastic ones don't have this problem, but the teeth aren't that narrow/thin so they aren't as effective.
