Review on πŸ”§ White Universal Low Profile Ceiling Projector Mount by Mount Factory by Ruben Jamrock

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very light and versatile but has a slight strength issue.

There are a few negative things to say about this ceiling mount. I first managed to ceiling mount an Optoma X343 projector and it worked like a charm! It was really easy to install and endlessly versatile. Manufacturers like Epson, Optoma, and Sony have their own versions of these mounts that cost around $100. That's just over 1/10th the price of their bindings, and they're very similar and fit all with little to no difference in quality. The bracket consists of 2 pieces of solid metal. One part is screwed to the projector and the other to the ceiling. The two pieces hang over each other and tighten securely for easy installation. The only bad thing I can say about this stand is how the two pieces fit together. When you first put the two pieces together they will dangle, then tighten a few screws with an Allen wrench to make them more secure, allowing you to hang the projector at an angle if needed. This is a very secure and stable connection point, but I can see that heavy projectors hung at an angle can be a little awkward with the type of two-piece connection that this mount has. You have to really tighten the screws to keep the tilted projector at an angle, rather than slowly bringing it to a horizontal position. If you don't want to hang the projector at a slight downward angle, this mount is the best solution you can find at Revain. It is very stable in angleless projection and is made of solid metal, easy to install and universally adjustable. It fits many projectors and I would recommend this ceiling mount to anyone looking to enhance their home theater experience.
