The 42" was too small so I sent it back and received the 44" which is more than too big. I fasten it to the last hole. The sling is so good I'm considering buying the 42" again and using the 44" as a rifle sling and stocking it for the (probably inevitable) day my waist outgrows the 42". Otherwise this is a really great leather belt!
