Gorgeous color but short lived

I bought this wedding invitation ink pad after reading many reviews about the color. The color is a perfect copper and goes well with the 'Bronze' marker we used to address our navy blue envelopes. However, the pad turned out to be drier than I expected and even in the beginning it took a lot of work to get an even layer on the stamp. It started to disappear after about 50-75 marks. I was disappointed with the durability of the stamp but pleased with the color and that the ink didn't smear or rip off for minutes.
