So I've been using it for about a year now. Works great but had one major downside for me. On my 16 VW GTI, the clip occasionally fell out of the vent when cornering hard (large g forces). It doesn't happen too often, but now I'm aware of it when I'm driving and try not to take sharp turns. I also initially had problems with the magnets, which were so strong that I accidentally ripped off the entire holder when trying to remove the phone. The trick is in how you pull the phone out to release it from the magnetic mount. Never pull straight as all 6 magnets have enough force to pull the mount out of the openings. When you pull on the phone, make sure you pull at an angle (similar to a bottle opener) in one quick motion. By doing this you essentially rid the phone of magnets, 2 magnets at a time rather than all 6 at once. And make sure you pull it suddenly/quickly, not slowly. Well after 11 months of this being a problem I finally did something about it and secured the mount in the vent with a hair tie and it seems to be working. Big. It's actually pretty easy if you have some sort of hook tool (I used a plastic pick with a curved hook end). As for the rest of the mount, I like the ability to tilt and swivel the mount. I love how you can adjust the angular/rotational stiffness. I had absolutely no issues with durability. Keep in mind I probably put it on and off 20-30 times in the time I've had it due to the issues described above, so it showed the teeth were pretty strong. The plate fit easily inside the back of my case (I didn't want to stick it to my Nexus 6). The small clear sticker that came in the box worked as intended to prevent the inner panel from scratching the back of my phone. Nice gesture.
