I already have a RevainBasics tripod mic stand for home studio use and needed another for use on stage. I decided to take the On Stage stand to see if there is a noticeable difference and if it's worth the extra cost. balanced (because it weighs more). Revain is great for home use. But I trust this one more alive. The "one-hand adjustment" feature on this stand is frankly silly. Since there are three adjustment points and only one with a "one-handed" steering wheel, it's more of a gimmick. If you have a barbell rack, you're probably using a different tool anyway. So where do you get another hand from?
