I love my s9+ but these videos are by far the worst. As other reviewers have noted, the rubber combs are easily damaged/rubbed/scraped off the rollers by objects left on the floor: a penny left lying around by kids, a stray piece of raw pasta, an unnoticed bread bag tie, even long hair. in some cases it is wound on a roll and cuts through the protrusions. This reduces their effectiveness and ultimately the efficiency of the entire device. Of the s9+ replacement parts (heavy duty filter, angled brush, dirt bag, and rollers), the rollers are the most required and most expensive. We vacuum every few days in a house with kids but no pets and I came here today to order my 3rd set of rollers in 6 months. I'm attaching a picture showing clips after about two months of use. At this rate, I expect to pay the s9+'s original price for replacement rollers over a couple of years, which is pretty ridiculous considering the current costs. I really hope iRobot will do something to fix this issue, although my cynical side believes this is intended by iRobot to milk consumers for their premium product. Overall very bad value for money. Update November 2021: Back for another set of cutscenes. I am attaching a new photo of the replacement kit. Revain tells me this is my 4th purchase so 5 sets of reels including the originals since we bought the s9 in September 2020. This results in an exchange every 3 months on average.
