The only thing I wasn't sure about about this beard oil was that it would cause pimples under my beard. Whether it's a rash or acne. The simple answer to both of them is no. I don't use much because it doesn't take much to deal with that crazy mane on my face. In the morning it usually just spreads in all directions, but with a little oil and a comb it will not only be tamed, but also become more manageable and soft. I applied a few drops all over my beard and found the oil wasn't enough to cause breakouts, although I do feel a slight smack on my skin. The scent isn't overly strong, piney, or woody like some of the oils I've smelled, but it has a slightly masculine scent that isn't overly strong. I usually apply the oil after a few minutes, I don't smell it anymore. Really tames the mane to keep the hair from climbing in different directions. I've also found that it's easier for me to cut all my hair the same length and not one shorter or longer than the other.
