My 1998 Chevy K1500 was missing a valve for the vacuum line on the rear axle so I bought this, fitted it to the end of the vacuum line and fitted a hose clamp. Around him. It prevents dirt and other things from getting into the line and works well. Obviously there are plastic ones that you can buy cheaper but will hold up better.
