Terrible smell. suitable for vase filler

Looks nice but smells terrible. I have tried everything to eliminate and/or hide the smell but nothing has helped. I've tried airing them, bleaching them, using fabreeze, foundation and color but they still smell awful. I ended up throwing them in the trash.
