We all know that none of us clean our makeup brushes like we should. And we also know that if we wanted to, we could just clean them with household items and a plastic plate. Here's my procedure for using my guilt: - Mix 2 parts dish soap with 1 part olive oil in a plastic bowl. - lay out all my nasty brushes - lay out a clean washcloth - wet the tip of the brush with warm water - dip in the oil and soap mixture - rub on the mint catkin until no more pigment comes out - rinse the brush in warm water to make sure that it is clean and soap free - press the washcloth against the brush head and lay the brush flat - continue until all the brushes are clean - rinse and dry the now innocent kitten - clip the brushes vertically for a firm one Seat - Lay everything down so the base of the brushes are vertically overhead (over a rolled up towel or partially emptied makeup like I used to) - Smile every time you use your brushes throughout the day see about dry.
