I really wanted to like this product. For real. But he has 3 problems. 2 of which are fundamental, 1 is just an inconvenience.1. The foam of the back pad is too soft2. The straps are elastic and the length does not hold.3. The short side of the bottom strap is on the car seat side and is very difficult to reach/adjust.1. The foam is too soft. If you buy this product to get rid of back pain, it must be supportive. Firmly. The shape of the pillow is great. The thickness is perfect. Not so thick that you're pushed too far forward and you lose your leg brace from the car seat. But. The memory foam in the back pad flattens out fairly quickly and doesn't provide enough support for the lower back. Using memory foam of the same thickness but higher density would be a big improvement. Maybe make 2 pockets in the back pillow and use the same density memory foam for the chest and a much firmer foam for the lower back? That would be ideal.2. Elastic bands. The most promising feature of this pillow is that it has two sets of straps. Up to keep the pillow at the right height, down to prevent the pillow from bulging. I was hoping that by doing this I could correct the position of the pillow. The top strap goes up, the bottom strap goes down. But no. It turns out that both straps are ELASTIC. Why did you choose elastic straps when the purpose of the straps is to hold the pillow in a fixed position? A little stretch might work, but these straps are very stretchy and allow the pad to move too much. didn't hold up and after a few hours in the car the belts slipped through the brackets. Making webbing out of inelastic webbing with good position retainers would be a huge (necessary) improvement.3. location of the buckle. For the bottom strap, the short side of the buckle is on the side of the seat, near (or above) where the seatback pivots at the bottom of the seat. It is very difficult to adjust the strap length when the buckle is hidden between the B-pillar and the seat adjuster. It would be easy to clip that side of the strap a few inches longer so you can adjust the length of the strap from the back seat. On a positive note, the neck pillow is amazing. After returning the set, I can order the neck pillow separately. The density of the foam is ideal for a neck pillow, and the elastic was no problem either.
