When I first took them out of the box I didn't think I would like them, the feel in my hands; However, as I put on and put on the orthotics, I realized I liked them. The more I wore them, the more I liked them. I read a review here that mentioned that these shoes have no arch support. I've found that many shoes don't provide good arch support, so I have a pair of doctor's insoles that I put in all of my shoes. The insoles I made in these shoes are perfect for wearing to and from work. I really like the style of these shoes and the material used. I say this because I've tried on other all-black shoes, including Vans, and I've noticed how many favors are collected for a pair of Vans. These FunkyMonkey shoes don't accumulate debt like other shoes I've reviewed. This is important to me because I have 3 dogs that shed a lot. I've been looking for all black shoes for months. I looked at Jane.com, several stores, and other places on the internet. They are the first to offer what I was looking for. They fit my feet well. I'm a size 7 1/2 to 8 1/2. I bought 8 of these.
