The wooden board is well-crafted and has a nice rustic appearance, which my mom loves. The kit also includes a set of round wooden discs that you can write the name and date of each family member's birthday on. The discs easily attach to the board with the included hooks. The only reason I did not give this product a 5-star rating is that there were no instructions included in the kit. As someone who is not particularly handy, it took me a few tries to figure out the best way to attach the hooks to the board. However, once I got the hang of it, the process was easy and straightforward. Overall, I think this is an excellent gift idea for anyone who wants to keep track of the birthdays of their loved ones.
