Review on πŸ”§ Lisle 41080 Trim Clip Pliers: Efficient 45 Degree Angle for Precise Trimming by Emilio Wallace

Reversible design can be dangerous for your hand. Tool tips break too easily

I bought this to remove half a dozen plastic clips from the front of my 2003 Dodge pickup. another would be nice. boy was i wrong! The plastic handle slides over the center of the tool. I found myself pulling the handle toward the end so I had leverage. Bad idea as the handle moves and the end I don't use ends up in my palm. As soon as I finished the task, I noticed that the inside edge of the tool tips looked chipped. I have worked with 18 year old thin plastic. If that broke the tips, he'd stand a chance against the new plastic clips. Lisle has always been a brand I trusted, this instrument didn't live up to its name.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
