Review on Lewis N Clark Leather Bi-Fold Wallet by Gerald Barrett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm impressed and didn't expect it to be

Based on my experience to date I have very low expectations of 'frugal' wallets and I would say that based on price they fall into that category. This wallet, however, shattered all of those expectations. This is a good wallet and a lot more than I expected. I've been using it since the day I got it - so about 5 weeks and I think it's given me enough time to get a good idea of the quality of this wallet. First, it's good that it's nice and thin. The leather is nice and soft, but not so soft that it visibly scratches like some other "nice" wallets. I'm terribly rough with my wallets and abuse them way more than I should - I stuff keys, phone etc in my pants pockets, but this wallet really hasn't had any abuse yet. Yes, there are very small scratches on it, but they really aren't noticeable unless you look closely. I would say after 5 weeks it still looks like a 9.75/10 (10 when I got it). I like the layout of the card holders inside, much better than some of the other wallets I've had. The seams are also of high quality, with no protruding threads, which is a clear sign of economical wallets. Overall I am very impressed with this wallet and would definitely recommend it.
