Was easy to mount for some, mine doesn't snap that easily, very tight (which is good). Locate the long 3/8 drive bushing. I just need a socket, no ratchet. Leave the antenna in place. Place a new rubber trim on the antenna, tucking the "long end" into the gap. Spray/add some lube (I used parts spray but almost any paint safe liquid will do) Then slide the 3/8" female connector onto the top of the antenna. (Be careful not to scratch the paint on the antenna) Make sure the front/long end fits into the gap, then press the socket. This should help create the leverage needed to snap the ornament into place on all edges.
