first let me say that I use the second set of these shafts. All three of my first pack broke. When the stock was first fitted into the barrel there was a very close fight. This is good because I don't keep twisting the shafts and snagging with o-rings to hold the shafts in place. The problem is that when they break after hitting our hardwood floor, they snap flush. I've tried using a knife and tool to remove the broken portion of the plastic rod but it's so tight I can't. I had to use a lighter and a small screwdriver to heat the plastic and then fish it out for 20 minutes. It's probably not possible, but they could at least undercut the threads a bit so the shafts aren't too tight and makes it easier to pull out the broken part. Otherwise I find these shafts to be of very good quality and they look very sharp. They add a nice touch to my soft tip darts and help my 'Robin Hood' or 'Pop Out' darts a lot when darts fly in next to each other. despite their rather high price of $20. I think at 10-16 bucks they fly off the shelf.
