This is our 3rd or 4th order. I see no difference in our cat's mood or behavior. I think the word "hemp" on the label leads people to think that it acts like THC (a potted substance that softens a person), but that's not the case. Hemp seeds are used to make MCT oil (a substance used by keto dieters and athletes). Melatonin is used as a bedtime sleep aid, but it won't necessarily make your pet sleepy or even relaxed. Some of the other ingredients may or may not help with sedation. Our cat likes them but they don't seem to calm him down. So why do we keep ordering them? My wife thinks they work. And maybe they really are there to reassure the pet owner that they "did something" to help their pet.
