Pros: Very soft. I have very sensitive skin and this material was soft and gentle enough for me to lay against bare skin - comfortable - the pattern reminds me of a blanket - great army green color (matches the sofa and living room perfectly!) Cons: - slips. The couch gets a lot of traffic every day. The lid needs to be adjusted 1-2 times a week. It's really warm in 80 degree weather (no AC) but great for the colder months. Not fully waterproof. I would say it's "water resistant". I've tested stains and the liquid doesn't absorb right away, but if you leave it on long enough it starts to soak into the fabric. If spilled quickly, the liquid rolls off immediately. This sofa cover does not deliver what it promises (non-slip, waterproof), but due to my sensitive skin and long search for the right shade of green, I am basically satisfied and would buy another one if I had another sofa.
