We were mostly pleased with this set of highlighters. They offer an assortment of colors although there were some that were almost indistinguishable from others.They all "wrote" well. We've used highlighters in the past that had inconsistent ink patterns when used but these were perfect in that regard.They are a great idea if you want highlighters that differ from the traditional Yellow, Green, Blue and Bright Pink. They'd also work well to color with.The ink didn't seep into the paper where it was visible on the other side but we only tested on standard copier paper. I'd recommend testing further if you plan to use thinner paper.There were no strong smells from the ink.Overall they seem to be a good value and we were happy with them.
