This watch band is very, very comfortable, fits great, has adjustment holes for my small wrists and feels more durable than some other silicone straps available (hopefully at least). The smell is pleasant vanilla, as described. Some reviews say it's incredibly strong, others say it really isn't that bad. I'm sort of in the middle. For me it's not necessarily STRONG, but non-stop. I'll tell everyone on the fence about this - I smell vanilla EVERY time my hand comes close to my face. I'm not sure if the smell will wear off over time. I will continue to wear this band because it is exactly what I wanted and despite the 'free cologne' I give it 5 stars. The smell is almost gone. I can still smell the vanilla if I bring the strap right up to my nose and focus on it. The smell is no longer a problem for me. If the smell bothers you, I would suggest ordering this product and leaving it outdoors for a month. Otherwise the strap is excellent, very comfortable and shows no signs of wear.
