Review on Organic Aloe Vera & Calendula Soap: Natural Skincare with Turmeric - Face, Body, and Shaving Soap (1 Pack) by Joshua Martinez

I bought this soap because I suffer from all types of acne. Face, back, chest, shoulders, whatever. i have oily skin I also have a lot of dark spots. I decided to switch from my regular unscented Dove bar to something natural and supposedly gentler on my skin to see if that would make a difference. I try to summarize my experience. The smell of the bar itself is strong and some of it lingers on the skin, but I personally liked it. The bar lasted about 2 months when I lathered it under a direct stream of water and made sure the bar stayed dry between each use ($9 bar of soap, that's something to take care of). I've found that the soap leaves a light film on my skin when I'm not scrubbing and my skin feels a little rough afterwards, but it still feels fresh and soft. I just wet afterwards and feel great. As for my acne, the soap didn't do much for my dark spots, but I've noticed significantly fewer pimples and smoother skin. When I had breakouts, it usually happened when I didn't use soap for over 24 hours, but the breakouts were short-lived once I got back to my routine. My fat content has also decreased significantly. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and even decided to order a pound of Fugly Soap! I also just received the Dead Sea Mineral Mud Bar and am hoping to get positive results from that as well.
