Ideal - for proper use. These tips will help.

They're great for what they are. I don't know why anyone would think they would work for heavy or large shoes, but they are great for light shoes like sandals, slippers and sneakers! I have a set on the inside of each closet door and they work great. for my comfortable indoor shoes that used to be thrown over my good shoes. I put mine on cabinet doors with insert panels and the shelves are wide enough to fit most of the strip on the flat parts of the doors. A few tips: Wipe down the back of the rack and the wall with a very slightly damp cloth such as Miracle Cloth to ensure there are no stains that could affect adhesion. Corner outwards, with a tongue sticking out from below. If you feel you need extra support, add a third small command strip down the middle so you can grab it if you ever need to take it off. - Start below where you want your shoes to be and work your way up. Climb to the top by slipping in light shoes so you can adjust the height so that the shoes are easy to put on and take off counter where the stripes are. fingers to ensure good adhesion, then wait at least 12 hours to remove shoes. I installed my first set over 2 years ago and they are still stuck. If they get lost or you need to move them, you can always get replacement command strips.
