Instructions wouldn't hurt
Attached is a photo of the instructions. In my case, I was fixing a waterbed that wasn't filled yet, so everything worked fine. The instructions say the place has to be clean and "dry" so they don't help much with a typical waterbed leak i.e. filled with water. I think it's probably better for inflatable boats.
