Review on Throwable Wireless Microphone System Functionality by Tim Thomason

I am a drama teacher and many of my students speak softly. Not to mention that I'm hard of hearing. So I thought it would be a fun and rewarding way to give kids a chance to be heard. I read mixed reviews but decided to splurge and give it a try. What a waste of money! Immediately the microphone works with interruptions. I often had to shake or smack it to "activate" the mic, which the product documentation doesn't say anything about. I was hoping you could throw the ball, put it to your mouth and you'd be spot on. For a teacher on a limited salary, this is sooooo expensive and unreliable. Now it just sits in a drawer and is unusable.
