Review on Wi-Fi router netis WF2780, black by Felicja Krzywaska ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I don't recommend buying this product, there's nothing to praise here.

As soon as the router became available for purchase, we went out and bought it. As a direct result of this, there were neither reviews nor information. Almost immediately, there were issues with the 5G channel. At times, the speed was 2-3 times slower than 2.4G, and at other times, the connection was made, but there was no Internet. Everything is much more stable on the 2.4G network, the speed is not horrible, and faults occur much less frequently. The wire provides the full bandwidth that is available from the provider (currently 500 megabits), but the connection is lost sometimes and cannot be reestablished before the device needs to be rebooted. If the router is used for an extended period of time without being restarted, it will eventually become stuck and require you to unplug it from the power supply. I was able to resolve this issue by using the router's configuration menu to schedule reboots. So, I updated the firmware, ated it, and loaded "stable" versions after reading that they were recommended for the infamous 4pda. Because I'm fed up with the inconsistencies of this one and I won't go to Netis to get a cannon shot, I'm currently debating whether or not to purchase a new router.

Pros
  • When it comes to the benefits, the cost is the first one that comes to mind for me. Strong radio signal power in addition to effective wired and wireless communication.
Cons
  • The speed on the 5G channel is reduced to an unacceptable level. There are intermittent hangings. A link can only be established at sporadic intervals. Even though there is a connection and a signal, the Internet does not disseminate on a regular basis despite the fact that it is there. I wouldn't consider purchasing this router a second time.
