Does exactly what I need. We use other dust plugs on equipment at work - it makes sense. Open ports can attract dust, dirt, and debris. When we put our phones in pockets and other places, they can easily get dirty. I carry my phone in my pocket while working in the yard and so much crap got into the USB-C port that I couldn't charge it anymore. After cleaning, it's time to do something other than tape off the connector or buy a bulky case. These plugs fit snugly and can be removed with a fingernail. The only problem is that they are small and can get lost, but I just put the removed one on the table next to the charging phone and then put it back in when I'm done charging.
