I bought this for my Ooni Koda pizza oven. The perforation is a plus because it allows excess flour to be sifted out of the dough - no worse than the taste of burnt raw flour on a pizza. The leading edge is nicely beveled which is a big plus. Of the minuses - not a very strong grip. Since I use it for very light dishes, it doesn't cause any problems. But if you're trying to get a heavy cast-iron pan out of a pizza oven, for example, this might not be the handle you would choose for a hot pan of food. Overall, for the price, this is a sure winner.
