Review on Kettle BORK K703, silver by Barbara Trojanowska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like the product, the quality did not disappoint.

We bought a bork k515 in exchange, which worked for 8 years and the lid broke in it. We decided to buy a new teapot from the same company, but we didn’t buy the same one, because for 8 years the quality of the teapot has deteriorated (there is no rubberized handle that is pleasant to the touch, the handle is without illumination, the kettle switch has a plastic tongue, not a matte chrome button). In short, there was something to compare with and decided to buy a better quality, but did not guess with the choice of model. Not justified price-convenience.

Pros
  • Of the advantages: design, smooth opening of the lid, a bell when boiling is stopped, a button for turning on the kettle with a backlight, when the boil is completed, the backlight turns off
Cons
  • 1. No amount of water is visible due to the darkened water level. We saved on lighting. Although for such a price it would be possible to add a backlight, like another fellow bork. 2. Drops on the lid, which are formed when water boils and disappear only when the lid is opened. There is no sense in a darkened and transparent lid, because everything is in drops. The lid is metal with darkened plastic that is susceptible to scratches. 3. The handle of the kettle, although fashionable and chrome-plated, but the base of the handle heats up when the kettle boils.
