We usually remove the collar when we leave him unattended but by accident we didn't remove this collar as we only have four dogs. We've had the collars for a little over a week and one of them broke. We were woken up by a dog screeching and went to check on her. She had so much saliva in her kennel that she practically convulsed. I have no idea how long it shocked her before we found her. After removing the collar, my dog was injured. She was afraid to move at all and it took her several hours to calm down. We are taking her to the vet today for a full assessment of any damage that may have been done. I do not recommend this as it is dangerous to your dog's health.
