NOT HEAT RESISTANT AND COTTON
I am a stylist and bought these combs to use as hair straighteners and also to part hair for braids. After my first use with a straightening iron, the comb melted immediately. I don't know if I got a bad batch of combs or whatnot, but I wouldn't recommend them for being heat resistant at all. And they are very fragile.
