Review on Black Audio-Technica ATH-M50X Professional Grade Studio Monitor Headphones with Detachable Cable - Critically Acclaimed by Anastazja Olejnik ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I can't stop being happy with the purchase, a very good deal!

The headphones have a sound that leans more toward the lower register, and they play honestly, so whatever is on the record will be played back in its entirety. This makes them an excellent purchase, particularly if you can get them here at a discount of 6-7 percent. In recordings that have been poorly mixed, the bass can occasionally be a little overwhelming. The high frequencies are not fatiguing; they are very clear; there are no "hiccups" or sibilants on a decent source; yet, they may have a "airy" quality. I think the voices are clear and expressive at this point, which is one of the reasons why the middle is one of my favorite parts. The headphones do include subbass, but it does not reveal any new information. As a consequence of the entirety of all +/- headphones, universal headphones that are free of obvious jambs should be able to accommodate everyone. I believe that several of the statements made in the discussions that took place on the network, such as a confined scene or one that is only appropriate for monitoring, are exaggerated. Do not let yourself be fooled by the fact that the phone and the computer will not have "speakers" of sound. You will need to listen to the music through a high-quality player or DAC that has at least 200 mW of power. In conclusion, it is extremely wonderful to be able to do things in them such as listen to music, play, watch movies, and watch YouTube.

Pros
  • — high-quality audio — space-saving folding design — three cords are supplied
Cons
  • - the ear pads are small, thus those with large ears may experience some discomfort - the leatherette may eventually peel off
