I bought it again after the first one took the stone. I bought this to cover my custom panel so it will be nice to hang in my garage at some point. I move a lot from state to state. I have a huge collection of license plates. This case makes it possible. The cops don't care because it's clear. The only downside is that when you wash your car, water gets underneath it and needs to be removed and cleaned about once a month. No problem if you have a screwdriver. Here's a tip! Spray both sides, inside and out, with rain-x widow cleaner. You make it so now it's in a bottle of Windex and you just spray it on and wipe it off like you normally would. If you do this, when water gets in, it will immediately sink to the bottom and not hang around all day for dust to collect and slowly dry out and leave stains. Also, tighten the screws very slowly when putting them on. I cracked one by going on an empty stomach. Otherwise great for the price. I will and will buy again. If your car sits idle day and night due to inclement weather I have noticed that after a year or so the license plate cover has turned yellow but they come in a pack of two so I used the second one that came with them. My state only needs one plate! Much luck.
