Review on 🌞 TruKid Sunny Sunscreen Lotion Mineral: Optimal Protection for Sun-filled Days by Tiffany Staley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best of anything I've tasted.

This is my favorite sunscreen. It works at least as well/if not better than any other I've tried, nice orange scent, not oily, not too thick, effects are immediate. - added bonus: the company uses biodegradable packaging noodles (dissolves underwater) and ships quickly for a great price. I live in Hawaii and paid less than $5 to have three tubes shipped. He got here in less than a week. In my search for the best "healthy" sunscreen, I've tried a few and will summarize them in case anyone else is looking for the perfect sunscreen/sunscreen. I've learned a lot through trial and error and will share it if it can help save others from the "erroneous" part. The rest of this review is mostly about sunscreen in general or for those looking for more information. Sunscreens I've tried: Badger - works well but is very greasy, needs to be applied 30 minutes before exposure. must also be applied within 30 minutes. This is especially problematic if you use it on children 30 minutes before leaving the house. I don't want my kids running around the house leaving greasy sunscreen residue on furniture etc. CA Baby is my second favorite sunscreen. It works quite well and is not greasy as mentioned above. However, it must also be applied within 30 minutes. It's quite thick and takes some effort to rub in, but personally I don't mind. On the other hand, you can sometimes find this locally (Target usually wears it in the summer). ) This sunscreen is rated "3/moderate health risk" by the EWG. There's no point in risking more than necessary. This sunscreen also seems to irritate the skin of one of my children. The only reason I would buy this is if I was in a pinch and needed to buy something from the local store and it was the best they had. Of all the sunscreens I've mentioned, this one is the easiest to find in stores. Here's the EWG website for more info on their reviews.[.] Also, it's very important that you follow the directions and sunscreen before 30 minutes apply before start if indicated. I found less effectiveness when trying to cut turns to get in faster go outside. Your skin needs to stay cool during this time, otherwise you'll just sweat. Reapplication is also critical and I've found that even after drying and spending some time in the shade to allow the second coat to set in, it still doesn't work as well as the first application. We live in Hawaii where the sun is high. strong all year round. I have found that the best thing I can do to protect my young children is to keep them indoors or in the shade during the hottest part of the day. Also, my kids always wear rash guards at the pool/beach and I don't let them wear sleeveless shirts/dresses on days when they're out and about a lot. I love Coolibar baby clothes. Remember that babies should stay in the shade whenever possible, and even then their delicate skin can bask in the sun. I keep my 9 month old baby at home whenever I can, but when we go to the pool/beach as a family I put protective clothing on her and put sunscreen on her face and legs even when she is in the shade (she puts my hands in my mouth so much, which I don't usually do) All in all, Sunny Days is the best sunscreen I've ever tried and I use it all the time. However, sunscreen shouldn't be your only line of defense. Clothing, shade, and a bit of common sense should also play a role. .Hope this helps someone Aloha
