I bought this because I wanted a cheap stool for my son in the kitchen and I am very happy with it. It's durable, feels secure, and is fairly light. The biggest downside was the assembly. It's the perfect height for standard kitchen worktops and doesn't take up too much space in the kitchen. The wood also has a nice neutral look. It also has non-slip pads on the bottom that make it more stable.
