It does the job and looks a lot better than it did before it was bought. I'm a good cook, so the ubiquitous spices pissed me off! Saw this one, it was reasonably priced and looked like a good choice. It contains a lot of spices, and the drawers move smoothly for the most part, the nails prevent the drawers from falling out, and you can see all the spices, very cool. The color is good, but when erasing the layer (during assembly) it is not noticeable at all. Not heavy, sidewalls are strong. The bodice was noticeably warped when it arrived, but it's an easy-to-bend material, so I pushed it back and hoped the nails would do the rest. It assembles very easily, but the boxes are uneven. One side is higher than the other lower. This is gonna drive me crazy, the rest is fine, just the bottom drawer. The sides and uprights are nice and strong, the drawers are the same material as the top and some of the details are oddly shaped. There are also some dents and sharp edges on the top that I need to sand down as I have kids. There must be sharp parts in the middle of the plate. When I opened it and saw the top, the first thing I wanted to do was send it back and ask for a new one. But we will fix the shabby look. I have time for this, so why not? I wish I didn't have to fix it. I don't know if it was just a bit crumpled on the way or if it was that full 🤷🏻‍♀️. It's still better than before and will do the job I need it for. I was going to buy another one, but I've seriously considered it. This is by no means a bad rating. I like it, just pointing out what caught my eye. It has some positives as well as negatives and if I didn't have time to fix it I'm sure the review would have been a little different. I'm a little annoyed that I have to fix it when I've spent money on it. So here it is, would I recommend it to my friends? A lot of my friends aren't "fixers" and honestly, they shouldn't be. I would like to think it was an accident that he was beaten up like that because of course they wouldn't send him with such a sharp weapon to cut my arm and bend my top. But it's solid, all the parts were there, and it looks like it'll last me a long time. It's definitely not a bad product and it really does what it's supposed to do. I will not send it back and I'm sure if I fix it a bit it will be perfect. UPDATE: Well, the sharp ends in the middle of the top are sharp enough to cut kids' hands. in my house. Very disappointed with it, should have fixed it sooner but thought about it more. I don't really need it, won't send it back anyway, and ask for a new one in better condition if need be. However, it is not good to have objects sharp enough to cut your hand. This needs to be fixed in the future. Please do not send your goods if it could hurt someone! I sincerely hope it was an accident and that I just got wobbly.
