I have just loaded the second of two cartridges in an order. It doesn't work and boot properly and I get an HP error (consumable memory error) on the printer. The warning states that the cartridge should be reinstalled. It doesn't load properly. After reinstalling the printer software twice, it still doesn't work. Finally, if you compare the empty and new LD cartridges, you'll notice that there's a piece missing (or broken off?) on the left side just below the spring (some kind of lead?). I hope the company reads this and sends a replacement. I've always had good luck with LD cartridges in the past.
