I've Tried Most Protein Bars

I've literally spent hundreds of dollars on protein bars over the years hoping that eventually I'd find one I like/liked. you have def. come a long way since the early days of those tough, rough, endless bars. Here are my "3" protein bars that I love to eat: A) Specialty K Protein Bars (12g) - These contain the most sugar of any "protein" bar, but they taste the best. Probably not the healthiest but a great introduction to protein bars and if you are trying to lose weight along with their cheap price. B) Pure Protein Bars Birthday Cake (20g) Some find this protein bar (for me) the best choice overall. It still has a semi-protein flavor but 3g of sugar masks it pretty well. About $1.25 per bar, 20g protein and decent taste, again the best choice in my opinion. You save money and get your protein worry-free. C) ONE protein bar (20 g). $3 per bar. Some might argue that Quest bars are better (nutrient-wise, they're a bit), but flavor-wise, no. Quest bars do their best to mask the chewy protein taste, the stale, bland taste of a protein bar. You can tell how hard they try to make the packaging look amazing by adding sprinkles/chips/etc. to their bars. Anything that makes you mentally forget about the bar is terrible. If you don't mind the terrible taste, buy Quest bars. If you're looking for something that doesn't scare you about eating a healthy protein bar, check out ONE bars. If I had the money I would at least buy ONE bar, but Pure Protein bars are so cheap for the same amount of protein/serving that getting them is no easy feat. Thinking about how much you spend on a meal? $8 for 20g protein at Subway/Boston Market/etc? These bars cost about $1.25! per 20 g (for one meal). So if you need those "3 extra meals" every day to get 60g of extra protein, trust me, give it a go. I would also recommend buying 1 different flavor bar before buying a pack of 12 so you are 100% sure you are going to like the right ones.
