Let me first point out that although this item is advertised as new, it is clearly used or at least someone may have sprayed it to test it. I have included photos to show how the jar arrived when I opened the package. That being said I didn't have time to try and return it and wait for a new can so I went ahead and used it. I've never used this particular bedding spray so I can't confirm how long it can hold up against the elements, but I've found that it seems to take a few coats to get solid coverage on the surface of whatever get spray. It dries quickly enough to apply another coat or pick up the object to be painted to turn it over to paint the other side, but it seems to me that you may need to allow the paint to dry in direct contact for an extended period of time. Sun so it bakes and doesn't peel off easily. Overall I would rate this product as good and if it can handle the crazy Houston weather I might rate it higher; However, as I received a used can and the amount I had to use to cover a small area I can only give the rating I did. (It took an entire can to cover a medium-sized cargo case measuring about 46" by 37", and that wasn't a thick layer either).
