I have a Honda Civic and at some point the antenna on the rear window broke and the reception got worse. I added a Y antenna adapter that has male and female connectors along with a second antenna. When both work, my HD radio picks up many more stations with less noise. I grounded it to the door frame under the weatherseal and placed the antenna just under the headliner on the passenger side. As a result, there was a lot of pressure on the wire due to the angle created, and the double-sided tape couldn't withstand it, causing the antenna to wobble. So I moved it an inch from the ceiling and haven't had any problems since. All in all a good investment for the value.
