My 3 year old grandson was interested in this Lego style math concept toy. The stones are well made and easy to attach to the included base. I am a former preschool/preschool teacher and am impressed by any high quality, hands-on, engaging, and visually appealing activity that encourages the development of numerical representations. Stones with numbers and mathematical symbols are a plus. This set has been used in my home in the following ways: • Stacking and counting dice • Making patterns with two colored dice alternating (e.g. blue, red, blue, red, blue, red......), what not not only introduces the pattern, but also makes counting dice easier • An open-ended game for building towers and abstract creations that, like all building blocks, encourages the development of fine motor skills. The cubes are firmly connected to the base and to each other and are easy to separate. Cubes with numbers and math symbols are half the thickness of regular bricks, making them a bit difficult to lift off the base. The price corresponds to the quality of the set. I recommend in my opinion for children from 3-6 years. Older children will benefit from the concepts of addition and subtraction. I recommend this purchase! ❤️
