I decided to install them in 4 foot wide and 7 foot high doorways so my horses could enter their stalls. I like the track system which makes it easy to add or remove hanging polypropylene straps. It's an easier task than what I've experienced at a manufacturing facility or trading camp, but it definitely fits my purpose. The railing is pretty flimsy and the screw holes aren't always closer to the ends (it's not a 4 foot piece, it's 2 x 18" and 1 x 12"). We just pre-drilled holes where we wanted and added more screws. The screws provided are small and there aren't many, but they do include small cotton gloves that won't fit most adults, but the gloves are a good suggestion as the edges of the railing are flimsy and you may cut. Another tip is to check the tightness of the nut/bolt where the strips attach to the metal plate at the top. Some of them weren't even finger tight and would come loose with little wind or movement.
