I have been a fan of the Tipperary Sportage for years but decided to give this one a try after seeing friends who liked the look and trying it on. That's great! For a western rider like me it is flatter and slimmer than other helmets, light weight, very comfortable, offers more protection, looks more western, is very attractive and fits great. I tried them on small (I have a size 6 3/4 cowboy hat) and they were perfect. I wore mediums in Tipperary. I ordered a little brown dress, wore it twice this week and both times got compliments on how great it looks and not as big and "bubbly" like my favorite Tipperary. I'm sold and will get another one in tan or black.
