My mom is good enough with computers to turn them on, search google and email links to cat videos. For everything else, she usually calls for help, and sometimes I have to use TeamViewer remotely when that's not enough. She recently moved to a new location with WiFi, but her simple little desktop PC didn't have WNIC. So I bought this and sent it to her, thinking that worst case scenario she might return it or hold onto it until I was on her neck of the woods to install it. Well I called to see if she had received the package and was expecting her to remove the case, find an available PCIE slot, screw it in, install drivers etc but no. She decided to try it herself, having never installed computer hardware in the past, and quickly got things up and running. So yes it does the job and it's back online and very easy to install.
