At least I think they will be. I received them yesterday and put them on straight away and wore them all night. This morning my heels were soft and moisturized. Of course I haven't washed them yet because I didn't want to wash off some of the moisturizing properties of these socks right away, but more on that later. I bought these because I live in the desert in the Southwest and our homes have tile everywhere that draws moisture right out of your feet, especially if like me you go barefoot a lot. My pedicure can't be done once a month and I don't want to spend more to go more often, so I was looking for something to add moisture in between visits. I liked the fact that they said you can also use your own foot cream because I'm sure it will lose some of its potency over time. However, this sock keeps the moisturizer on the foot instead of absorbing it like a regular sock. When I put the foot cream on and then a regular sock, when I took the sock off all the cream evaporated. Based on my first experience, I have my fingers crossed that this is the answer to a problem I've been trying to solve for quite some time.
