Considering their size and round shape, they still gave off a fairly even soft light, so the lack of tilt didn't matter much. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an inexpensive modifier option that's larger than a regular softbox and looking to add some extra life to their bulb-based steady-state lighting options. I'm sure they will work well with flash units for flash photography. IMO this isn't for you if you use LED panels.
