I was fed up with the toddler toilet seat we used because it had to be put on and taken off the toilet seat every time. He was dirty and usually threw himself on the floor. This place is great because it's always there. It is relatively easy to keep clean despite being made up of 3 components. It's much stronger than the cheap seat that came with our toilet. The damping clasp also works well. The only negative thing I can think of is the child seat itself. While it is easy for an adult to understand that you have to lift the toddler seat before folding it down, it is not easy to teach a 2.5 year old to do this. The good thing is that it feels really solid. When my daughter folded down the toddler seat and it popped out, it was easy to put it back in place. I think another plus is that one day we will be able to completely remove the child seat and have a normal toilet seat.
