Review on Diane Ceramic Rollers Yellow Count by Brenda Belcher

The best Velcro!

I have VERY thick, long, curly hair. These reels, *when used correctly*, are amazing. I've used velcro rollers from some of the cheaper brands and find them the most effective. Use: I curl my hair just before I shower on the days I don't wash it. I don't wear a shower cap because a little moisture from the steam really helps the curls hold. I then use either a diffuser or a blow dryer hood to heat the curlers and set the curl. I let my hair and curlers cool down for as long as possible. Gently flip from the bottom up and - bam! beautiful waves and curls. DO NOT SLEEP IN THEM - they aren't designed for that (look for sponge rollers instead) and your hair will get tangled, combing it out will be a nightmare. I use 1.25 inches for the front of my hair and the top of my head. Use 1.5 inches for the next layer down and 2 inches for the bottom layer (just need some volume, not much curl underneath. Negative reviewers don't seem to understand how to use velcro curlers properly. Small strands of hair should So if you have a lot of hair like me, you probably need a lot of curlers, the smaller the curlers, the more curl you will have Corkscrew spirals.
